As a social enterprise, we want to contribute to the circular economy by using re-used bicycle frames in the production of our new designer e-bikes. The carefully selected and processed frames give the e-bikes a unique and hybrid design, with the original lines of a vintage bike. Every e-bike is handbuilt with care at Roetz Fair Factory in Amsterdam.
Roetz e-bikes come with an almost invisible all-in-one 250 W motor hub with integrated battery. The motor hub is wireless, 100% modular and nicely concealed, ensuring easy maintenance. Unique in its kind and unlike other electric bikes, our e-bike motor is regenerative. The battery recharges when you pedal reversely or slow down. This saves energy and prolongs the e-bike range!
Roetz' e-bikes have four different support levels, from Eco to Turbo. Depending on the support level, the e-bikes have a range of 30 to 50 km per charge - more than enough for your daily ride! You adjust the support modes via the app or the optional wireless remote control. The turbo mode gets the maximum (40 Nm) out of the engine and helps you effortlessly uphill.
Not only do the circular frames provide a unique design, it also makes Roetz e-bikes lightweight and easy to ride. Because the weight is low (about 16 kg), we can guarantee a greater range and you can easily maneuver the bike. Would you still like to cycle without electric support sometimes? No problem. When the electrical assistance is switched off, the Roetz e-bikes ride effortlessly, just like a regular bicycle.
Roetz e-bikes are easy to operate via an e-bike app, and (optionally) via the remote control on the handlebars. With the user-friendly app, which is connected via Bluetooth to the motor hub in the rear wheel, you can set your favorite e-bike support level. Once paired, you can drive off without any worries and activate the e-bike by pedaling backwards three times. All connections are wireless, so the bike keeps its sleek design.
Design your e-bike exactly how you want it. Choose your favorite color and model and configure the bike to your liking. Go for Roetz's trademark wooden mudguards or cork handles, choose a front or rear carrier or other accessories and design your unique electric bicycle.
