From our bike factory and headquarters in Amsterdam-Noord, we produce our unique and robust Roetz bikes, refurbish bike fleets for clients such as NS OV-Fiets, Bluebike, and the Dutch National Postcode Lottery.
Since the end of 2023, we launched our own circularly designed e-bike, the Roetz Life, the world's first circular e-bike! A smart, modular e-bike with an innovative service concept, shaping the circular transition within the bicycle industry.
Position
As Coördinator Logistics you play a key role in the daily operational management of our logistics processes and warehouse activities. You streamline incoming and outgoing flows of goods, ensure optimal stock levels of bicycle components for production, and support our production teams with the right materials at the right time.
You work closely with the Head of Workshop and act as a sparring partner for the Supply Chain department. Through proactive coordination and continuous process optimization, you help ensure a smooth production flow and contribute to operational excellence within the organization.
Leadership and Team Management
- Plan, allocate, and prioritize daily logistics tasks.
- Ensure a structured, well-organized and safe warehouse.
- Encourage an dtrain production team members to support stock accuracy and logistics processes.
- Lead, coach, and develop logistics employees (including staff in wor-based learning programs). The current team consists of 1 to 2 team members.
Logistics Operations
- Ensure accurate and timely handling of incoming and outgoing goods.
- Oversee the correct registration of stock movements in our ERP-system.
- Monitor stock levels of key components and coordinate replenishment with the purchasing department
- Keep oversight of Kanban-driven stock and mange systematic inventory ordering.
- Support and supervise logistics work related to pre-assembly items (e.g., frames, wheels, handlebars).
Stock and Porcess Optimization
- Ensure accurate inventory control and perform scheduled stock counts.
- Analyze stock trends and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
- Monitor supply availability around production lines to meet production targets.
- Signal improvement opportunities and coordinate follow-up actions with the Workshop Manager and Planning and Procurement.
